Stevec Re.<<<<<<<<b.> Obviously, if we hit NiceGuy's projection of $1.00 a share, the fireworks on this stock will go off on 4/13. If the analysts think AMD will make for all of 2000 5x its 1Q earnings, $1.00 a share implies AMD should double its current projected year earnings for 2000. >>>>>>

Steve, even if we don't hit $1 eps first quarter, AMD should easily hit $5 - $6 eps for 2000. Why? Because of Dresden, which can easily put out 2 Million Tbirds per quarter at 250 each comes to 500 mil. extra rev / quarter which should add at least 150 million to profits. Secondly, now I doubt that Intel will start a price war until they get good production from Willy. INtel needs the income to make estimates and by continuing shortage; Intel can make quarter; and not loose a lot of business because AMD's extra capacity from Dresden will just supply the increase in worldwide sales. So, I am expecting the yields are good, demand is high mantra to continue until Intel can compete with Willy.
