Okay Mitch, we've got something more ascended. Instead of a bash script, we pull out the soldering iron and do a bash FUNCTION. In my .bashrc, I defined the following function... # In .bashrc function rtq() { lynx "http://www.siliconinvestor.com/research/rtquotes.gsp?s=$*&submit.x=0&submit.y=0" } #all done Then, to get the realtime quote for American Electric Power, you just type 'rtq aep'.
