Community Open Source is not as open as the LINUX model I agree, however, what is wrong with a company making money for it's contributions? One leader will also help unify the language faster and be a "tie breaker". I like both models actually and hope they compete to get the best products out as soon as possible, and that's a major point.

Community Open license does limit full innovation but does not smother all innovation, that is, all innovation is considered, as long as SUNW approves based on its tests (which are published as the rules).

and the majority of the Linux community thinks it's a farce. --- The majority of the Linux community thinks any music other than Korn, Limp Biskit, or Metallica, along with the 11th grade *itself is a farce, but I don't see what that has to do with Sun. --- You do? Could you elaborate? -JCJ
