Internet Capital, MSC Back Industrial B2B Site WAYNE (Reuters) - Web venture firm Internet Capital Group Inc. (NasdaqNM:ICGE - news) said on Monday it had taken a stake in IndustrialAmerica.com, a new online marketplace for industrial customers. Internet Capital, which specializes in online ventures in which companies can trade with each other, said it had joined industrial equipment and supplies distributor MSC Industrial Direct Co. Inc. The online marketplace is scheduled to be available in autumn 2000. IndustrialAmerica's President and Chief Executive Charles Sheridan had been a senior vice president at Oracle Corp. (NasdaqNM:ORCL - news) in charge of Oracle's consulting practice to the federal government.
