No, No No Bilows Postings are the most Bullish thing that could happen to Rambus right now. Rambus will soar soon enough and Bilow will go back into semi-hibernation. <g>

Hi cellhigh; No, re needing RMBS stock price at a particular price. In fact, the only time I have ever had RMBS in my account overnight it was long, and the only reason I was long was because I arbitraged an odd lot on ISLD versus INCA after hours, so I ended up with 10 or 15 shares. In fact, I can only go short RMBS for intraday trades, due to the short squeeze. But I don't have any great desire to short this stock, it is too volatile, and the short interest is already way too large. I've said it before, I have a lot of awe for you guys who trade these extremely volatile stocks long term, both long and short.

By the way, I never put so much on a trade that I need anything "real bad". Needing a stock price real bad is a sign of overtrading, and, being a very careful engineer, I very rarely overtrade. When I do, it is because of an error, and I correct such errors quickly. Here's a post on the subject of overtrading by me, in particular money management for traders: #reply-11428715

As to why I post on this thread, I explained this a long time ago. I tend to ignore people who don't go back and read the old posts, it is not my objective to save everybody from losing money when this stock tanks. In fact, it would be impossible for me to to do so. Maybe it is time for me to repeat myself: #reply-11393031

I've tried to keep this discussion on the technical merits, and I have ignored a lot of the pointless drivel that clutters up any popular thread on SI. Rather than repeat myself completely, here are some posts I have already made to this thread, I don't intend to revisit this subject, it is pointless to argue about my own internal psychology with other people, for instance, just a waste of time.

P.S. I am not at all shy about admitting that I am short a stock for the long term, as you will discover if you do a little reading (okay, a lot of reading,) on the AMZN thread. And for all the people who have suggested that I am deep underwater in a short, catch a clue. When RMBS traded below $100 I agreed completely with Zeev about the advantage of playing the breakout above $75. I posted to that effect on this thread. During the time that RMBS ran to near $500, I didn't post on this thread, nor anywhere else on SI, I was busy. Since the time I have come back, the stock has dropped drastically, I believe, but the fact is that I don't pay much attention to the prices. Go back and read my posts. You will find that they say very, very, very little about the stock price. That is because I really don't care about it. What I care about is memory systems, and that is what I comment about. This is distinct from the vast majority of the people who post on this thread, who have monetary reasons for most of their comments, and who are obviously talking their positions.
