I am very self aware. I am hostile (as in I take positions against) to ideas. There are LOTS of people I don't like- but I don't care enough about them to be hostile- it's a matter of degree. Perhaps you mistake honesty for hostility. It isn't hostile to dislike people who are completely unappealing to you. If you (who I don't like) or Rambi (who I do) advanced the same idea- I wouldn't disagree with you and agree with her. I might ignore you, seeing no need to discuss something I already agreed with with someone I don't like, but I might do the same to her merely because I might think chiming in would be repetitive. I would disagree with both of you if either of you advanced an idea I perceived as silly. I might worry about Rambi's feelings and I wouldn't worry about yours- but that is hardly hostile, it's merely not going out of my way for people I don't care about. People aren't worth the waste of time. I TRIED to get this across to Lorrie- but it seems to be a foreign idea here.

Ideas aren't personal- they are just, ideas. I really think you need to take this discussion up with some of your friends, who are, in fact, hostile. Perhaps long association with such people has confused you.

Neo,

You feel X is "tiresome" because you would not be able to defeat her logic in an extended debate.
