I suspect, but don't have any true insight. If you look at the strength in the boxmakers and then you factor in the idea that the first Q would have had some built in demand from the 1 or 2 businesses that actually did have a y2k lockdown, I believe that the numbers should come in strong.

Another thing that I believe, and stick with me on this one for a minute, is that INTC knows that their earnings are key to placating the market right now and that they will do there best to make the numbers look as good as possible within whatever latitude they are able to influence this.

I do have reason to believe that the tech earnings season will be good. So I am backing into the reasons.
