PP - OSX critical point. Let me clarify (very short term critical point). The long term story still looks great and the major points of support look like they'll hold. For me it broke a support that triggered the selling of my remaining margin positions in the OSX. Didn't sell any E&P's. I probably take some call positions in MRO, UCL and TX today or tomorrow and add on weakness.

207.61.23.98

It now looks more like a head and shoulders pattern that'll take the OSX back to 100, maybe 95-90 in the worst case scenario. Before you could connect the bottoms and show a very definable uptrend line starting in early Feb.

Here's some selective cut and paste for ya! <g>

============================================================

The price ``may fall a little further,' Rodriguez said in a
television interview today. ``But OPEC has already established a
corrective mechanism and if prices fall below $22 a barrels for 20
consecutive days we'll immediately cut back production.'

============================================================

Think they'll wait twenty days? Hmmmmmmm. I wonder. Maybe. But then again it didn't take Norway nearly that long to take back their "production increase", did it? Now Mexico says they want 25 to 30? Maybe Mexico will decide they don't need to ship as much crude to the US since we miraculously found 8 million barrels of gasoline just laying around somewhere. Ah yes, the immaculate barrels.

But maybe your right, OPEC WILL commit hara kiri, just to please a lame duckie.
