That is why I resisted arguing. Whether or not nuclear reactions began spontaneously, was there a plant on the scene? Of course not. Why talk past the point? The Big Bang theory does not prove the existence of God, and I did not say it did. What it does do is make physics "mystical", and therefore make it just as reasonable to believe in God. The current theory is one of the virtual vacuum preceding time/space, although there has certainly been speculation about other universes and such...do you read a lot of science fiction? As long as a belief is reasonable, we are free to believe what seems for the best.......
