< with YOUR money>

Took out a Blue Cross/Blue Shield policy a year or two ago. Went since 1991 without any insurance; then a friend (whose wife passed on just last week from cancer) told me what his bills would be if he did not have insurance.

Decided to get out of the self-insurance business at that juncture.

Yeah, she reminded me about the plaque deposits and the way the blood vessels close up. Boy, smoked a cigar right after I left her office....shook me up too much. I figure a lot of the brain vessels are shut tighter than a drum at this point.

I'm loaded with drugs already.......can't pronounce most of them. Rarely take 'em though. Last one I was told to get cost $38 for 60. "Glucosamine Chondroitin". Now that I went to the trouble of finding the bottle I guess I may as well take one. I think I took one last week when I bought the bottle. Thanks for the reminder.

At this rate the bottle with last over a year. Not a difficult feat in my experience. I think I have vitamins around that are 6 and 7 years old. My wife actually bought a bottle of Ginseng last week. I don't have the heart to tell her, I still have the last three bottles she bought for me, gathering dust.
