Skeeter, depending on how aggressive you want to get...<g> Since this is related to rental property, you may have a totally different situation than we first discussed????? It may be to your advantage to get someone in your area to look at your return or file an extension and then let them look at "substance vs form" on that transaction. All of a sudden your comment about using the proceeds to pay off rental property has bells and whistles going off in my head. VBG. Monty
