The bottom line is this: there is no proof and never has been any proof that any supreme being exists, except within the fevered brow of those that must have a supreme being exist to: 1. make them feel more secure 2. give them a purpose in life or, 3.enable them to seek power over other men. There is no proof, nor does there need to be proof. You have omitted one of the reasons that people believe in a supreme being, a reason that does not demand a proof: It enhances for some of us the daily texture of life and helps us to behave with kindness and understanding when kindness and understanding are difficult.
