My personal theory for why friday was the second lowest volume day, and today was the lowest volume day, (for both naz and nyse) is that on tuesday a LOT of speculative daytraders got wiped out. Without them, the volume is going to be a hell of a lot lower than "normal" until those clowns can borrow money from relatives or get real jobs and earn some more gambling funds..
