Paul, >>From there it looked like, during the last 3 years ADM offered a dividend + split dividend approximating 7%, but I'm not sure.

Me either. You could send a email to the CFO. He will get back to you.

>>BTW, it IS interesting with gas prices escalating, how much press is being given (once again)to ethanol production.

Yes, over the last few years a lot of these plants were shut down. At least up here in the midwest. There were co-ops etc that were trying to find new ways to make money on grains and corn during this depression in these commodities. Now we are having more states regulate the mix of gas. Here in Minnesota they add more ethanol during the winter. The rag I got from ADM last quarter discussed the increase in profits in this area.

I am listening to CNBC today and they are telling us that gas prices are declining. In our neighborhood, the large oil companies had a high of $1.499999999 per gallon and have not taken there price down one penny.

Paul, I have owned ADM in the past and that 5% dividend is a share dividend (dilutive), an extra 5 shares for each 100 you own.

I have been watching ADM's chart, it almost looks as though it has began some bottoming action...
