Re: The trading pattern today is starting to remind me of last Tuesday, when the sky was falling (for a couple of hours) ;^)

Scumbria,
That's just what I was thinking as I checked in over lunch to see the Naz is now down 165. I think there's a lot of fear in the market after last Tuesday. Everyone's thinking, "is this the one"...

PS- Make that down 180 now, and the DOW is giving up its gains also.

Scumbria,

<remind me of last Tuesday>

I was thinking the same. Just starting to buy small lots ready for the big rebound.

Comment: AMD traded 3 million shares this AM at a price over $78...1 million shares have seen it drop to its current level at $74.25...With strong Q1 tech earnings anticipated across the board, I'm looking for a rebound in the Nasdaq at any moment (currently down 175 points) which may just carry AMD back to $79 (maybe even $80) once again before very long...Looks like the shares in nervous hands got dumped to some lucky buyers! Big volume days, the likes of which we are witnessing today and will likely witness the remainder of this week normally take a stock to higher and higher highs!
