I know exactly what you're talking about and it's an illusion. Whether one prospers intellectually, materially, emotionally or mentally has nothing to do with a god or voodoo dolls. Religions based on fetish dolls believe the same irrational dogma you spout and the believers of those religions also think they have a special pipeline to their gods that helps them direct their life. They are fooling themselves as you are. You only exist at the benevolence of the producers, not of a god. Remember this: all religions are cults. Some are just larger than others. FT
