They screwed up the basics of Marketing 101.
Their identity and there promise left a lot to be desired.
You can't start a business by attacking Barron's and the Wall Street Journal. They never clearly explained the benefits of the brand .
Why it was better? What it did better?
Brands must provide an emotional and functional benefit. Should also be self-expressive.
I never could figure out what the Street.com provided so when they tried to raise the price I had no loyalty and cancelled my subscribtion.
Cramer was amusing but it got old quickly.
