The issue is simple... RE: "The thought that MSFT is guilty of preventing the next great software invention is ludicrous. The law and the judge as someone once put it are asses. No harm done to the CONSUMER!" JFD How can there NOT be any harm to the market and ultimately the consumer if a firm uses its monopoly power in one market to create additional monopolies in other markets? What is the big deal here? You sound as if you are letting your ownership of Microsoft shares interfere a bit with your thinking. Relax. It's all about ego and money to Bill. Don't encourage him, it looks bad in principle, and it's not good for business. Back to basics. Hal
