That's OK. Tomorrow will be another "Turnaround Tuesday" on CNBC.

Chris --

I agree. From the opening bell CNBC started emphasizing analysts' negative comments. After awhile it became so one-sided I had to ask myself if there weren't some analysts somewhere making positive comments. And the obvious answer was, Yes. Would it have been fair of CNBC to offer balanced reporting? Yes. Would we get it? No.

On top of emphasizing the negative reports, they kept saying the market would have to test the lows. . . it always did within a week or two of a bottom. . . that tomorrow marked one week. . . and so on.

At one point, with the Nasdaq down slightly over 100, Bill Griffeths said they would switch scheduled programming should it become necessary. Well, well, Aunt Maudie, you better get out the door before the rush . . .

Those who start fires for the thrill of it are called pyromaniacs. Is there a parallel term for journalists?

Thanks for letting me vent. :)

Pat

Being a Day Trader I watch CNBC all day long . A couple of months ago when we had stocks with small floats doubling and tripling Joe Kernan would comment that he could not understand how these stocks could make such moves. Yea right
Joe , we all know that in a Bull market any mention by Kernan or Costello was almost a guarantee of a double for a stock with a small float. Those days are over for now .
