John,

How about the strength CTXS shows on down days

I don't place any importance in an individual day's performance. Wouldn't know how to if I wanted to. But considering that a target of $115 was published today by an analyst, I'm not particularly surprised that Citrix went against the tide.

I should mention that, for the purpose of discussion in this folder, Citrix is a story stock until a tornado becomes a certainty. It's a well managed company with a great history, but insofar as this folder is concerned it's just a great story stock.

Cree fell so far that it maye be technically damaged--hope not.

John, I'm a bit confused about CREE. How has the recent fall affected their long term fundamentals <g>? Unless you are referring to their short term technics. It is in extremely volatile markets like we have had lately that shakes out those who are buying stocks rather than companies !! I believe that if a long term holder can't hold through times like these, they should be in CD's or short term bonds!
