NAZ finishes -258, AMD down a buck and a quarter. I'll take that anyday!

AMD held up remarkably well. Intel was down almost $6, LSI was down almost $6, NSM was down $5.5, and AMD held last Friday's closing price (throwing out the rouge after hours trade at $75.5). Yes, AMD really held tough. I'm a little surprised that MOT was down over $3. I wonder if they are going to make their number. Tomorrow will depend on it.

Pravin.

chic hearne:

Re:" It's interesting to see AMD bounce off of its lows entering the close as INTC has been lighting up my streamer the last 15 minutes with yellow each time it hits a new low."

Comment: At least as interesting to me as your INTC referent is the fact that Nasdaq dropped a further 100 points in the last hour while at the same time AMD bounced off that (old) $72 support level to close on an upswing to $74.25...That over 8 million shares went through suggests to me that significant base building has taken place between $72 and $79 to provide the foundation for the next price launch!

RE:"PS- Big, big selloff in INTC entering the close, down 5 1/2 now"

Intel looks to be entering it's c corrective wave.
