I think we are getting real close to a Nasdaq meltdown. I'm not a timer, but it's in the air. I can't see where the money is going to come from to support the market at this level.

Everyone and his mother is writing articles about the dangers of explosive growth of margin debt. We must be close to the limit.

More than a handful of people have already gotten their first taste of a margin call (or close).

This is the last week for inflows related to IRAs etc...

The Fed is still likely to tighten in May.

There's a ton of internet companies that need to come to market for equity to remain in operation - and by definition a lot of companies and people that are dependent on that scam continuing.

We must be close.

Looks like some of the brokerages are again raising margin requirements. Are Monday mornings or Friday evenings usually when they institute rule changes? See below --- one of the Barron's 15 just got margin limbo bar lowered...
