The half-life of Niles' touts is getting shorter and shorter, just like what happened to the touts of our old nemesis Tom Kurlack back in Aug 1997 as he was (finally!) becoming known even outside the bearish threads as a laughingstock.

Oh, and coincidentally, it was also just a week or so before he went from ultra-bull to ultra-bear and POS dropped 25% in three days. Note however that he went bearish *after* it started its plunge. :-)

(p.s.: anybody have a Symbol Guide to the various POS's mentioned on the thread?)

>>China Rejects U.S. Explanation for Bombing

BEIJING (Reuters) - China rejected Monday a formal explanation by the United States on how
Beijing's embassy in Yugoslavia was targeted and bombed by NATO warplanes in May, saying it was
``hard to believe' the bombing was a mistake.

``The Chinese Embassy in Yugoslavia has unmistakable markings and is also clearly indicated on U.S.
maps,' Xinhua news agency quoted Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhu Bangzao as saying.

``The U.S. claim that it did not know its exact location doesn't hold water,' Xinhua quoted Zhu as saying.

Zhu's comments were the first official response since Washington Saturday informed Beijing of the results of internal investigations
into the incident.

The reports reached the same conclusion as preliminary findings by Washington last year -- that the bombing was a mistake
caused by faulty targeting by Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officials.

``This is hard to believe,' Zhu said, and repeated demands the United States thoroughly investigate the matter and punish those
responsible.<<

Maybe the Chinese are carpet-bombing the Nasdaq?<g>
