Art, that was my point exactly. I am not sure where all the confusion is arising. The posts regarding RMTR and SSTI indicate that FRAM is likely to impact lower density, broad line-width applications served by the flash producers of code storage applications. Comparing consumer mass removable storage and industrial embedded code storage applications is like comparing apples and oranges.

SanDisk flash memory production is high density. It is not a low hanging fruit. FRAM producers will need to make significant inroads before SanDisk's markets are there for the picking. I currently own more SanDisk flash memory products than I own SRAM or DRAM in my desktop PC. I think that says it all.
