Right now, Via's PC133 chipset performs on-par with a 440BX system. I expect the 815 to perform on the same level, if not slightly better. Since 820/RDRAM performs slightly better than 440BX and Via, 815 could possibly match 820's performance on a few benchmarks. But I really don't expect 815 to blow away 820 at all, unlike what Tom is making us believe.

My real concern is how desktops using DDR SDRAM will compare to 820/RDRAM. PC133 is not a concern to me.
