Someone put in a last minute market order so we can set the 8th all time high in a row.

Question: Do people listen to the aftermarket numbers in the morning? On the one hand, it's nice to look at today and see AMD was even when the Naz was down 6%. On the other hand, we could trade down all day tommorrow even though we would actually be trading up. Does anyone think these aftermarket numbers have anything to do with where a stock opens?

Dave <My guess is anyone close to this stock will buy right back in tomorrow. No one wants to miss the fireworks show on Wednesday.>

I put the rest of my trading money into AMD late today. I was surprised to see it go so high early and then sag for the remainder of the day (still, much better than NASDAQ).

Tomorrow morning's MOT CC may be interesting for the entire SOX.

5dave22, won't the real fireworks start on Thursday (since earnings won't be announced till after the close on Wednesday)?
