From CNBC headline news:

In the first quarter this year, the telecom analyst?s survey found that Motorola?s U.S. market share crept up slightly to 26
percent from 23 percent in the fourth quarter 1999. Nokia, on the other hand, lost some ground in the landgrab, with a 36
percent first-quarter market share vs. 40 percent during the fourth quarter.

For 2000, Koffman says Motorola will continue to ramp up market share at the expense of Nokia, which continues to
struggle in the code division multiple access, or CDMA, market, and Ericsson {ERICY}, which saw its market share slip to
7 percent in the first quarter from 9 percent in the fourth quarter.
