I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. One may get carried away with volatility and possibly make a comment that is downright hoping the financial demise of another. I realise that is not death but is "close" when used on a financial based forum.

William is routinely attacked, when it is convenient. Yahoo's pe is now about 4 on what
he initially paid for it.


I did not follow him or that thread then. I wish I had and would have listened.

The lightweight crew gets hormonal from time to time,(but only in corrections),and asks him
to defend the very difficult: highly valued, rapidly growing companies that are not profitable.
But they carefully avoid discussing the yahoo investment OR THE INITIAL PRICE that was paid
for amzn, ebay, dclk, etc, etc.

What is the significance of the price originally paid for the stock? Aren't we concerned with whether the stocks are currently over or under valued, rather than whether they were over or undervalued years ago?
