I believe that poor quality labeling is one indication of a counterfeit product, at least in the clothing and music industries. I wonder if it is possible that those CF parts were counterfeit. If so, SanDisk would surely want to know about it. A counterfeit? Perhaps a low quality production run trying to pass as living up to the SanDisk brand quality. But don't worry, the customer will only see it when he/she has to download pictures off the CompactFlash card. That can't be more than a few thousand times based on the longevity of the card. Ausdauer
