Hi Ox; I was gone most of the day too, had several
orders placed but only one triggered. ( bought back
some wcom calls )

I got my tax filed, in reviewing 99, I can see I did
better swapping in and out of the Pro funds than I did
trying to time the QQQ.
----------
Due to trading expense but also the funds are leveraged,
so if I use margin to get the leverage they have built
in I worry about a margin call. ( and the interest )
So for me it looks like the pro funds are the way to go.
In respect to the qqq.
-----------
Raw options on the qqq have too much premium and the
floor traders are skewing them; when you get them right
they don't move as much as they do if you get on the
wrong side, it's like a hidden spread. The only ones I
did good on were when I bought em in the money close to
ex date. ( premo is low and they can't skew them as much.)
You either win or lose.
-------------

I wasn't using spreads back until late in 99, but so far bull spreads when I can find good ones
seem to fit my style the best. In spite of the market
not being up YTD I've been able to time my bull spreads to where they have all done good.
-------------
All in all I'm still of the notion people have to find
a niche that fits their own style..what works good for one
mans system of trading could mess another up.
