JBW, Thank you for showing me (as my tennis pro says). The poor should make more money, which will enable them to become home owners. This will leave no renters behind, which will make the discriminatory mortgage interest deduction go away on its own. What a genius! Do you also feel bad for the folks who bought a foreign luxury car which had an instant, hefty depreciation the moment they took it out of the showroom, and posit that the Govt. should subsidize such purchases, which are good for the lenders, the manufacturers and numerous others? -BGR.
