I disagree, Del. I opted to answer without really answering. In a sense I regained control: in my mind's eye I saw another series of impassioned posts about articles of faith, and I thought, OK, let's not go there. At least not now.

While this has always been a place for open discussion, I find that it is also a marvelous place for me to field-test my first halting attempts at diplomacy.
