Sonny, One day we may begin to see class action law suits brought against major brokerage firms for market manipulation and racattering. The jury will consists of frustrated shareholders. They will then find brokerages houses such as Merill Lynch Mob or Goldman Suck Em Dry of deception, manipulation and a host of crimes. The brokerages houses will be found guilty and large punitive awards will be sought. This will put an end to the problems William outlined in his post. Lawyers like to sue for everyting these days and they coulld have a filed day with scams like these. It would not be too much of a challenge to convince jurors that Brokerage houses were intent on harming and robbing investors for the purposes of commissions.

Just when you thought it was safe to buy techs again... Monday's nasty sell-off wasn't that surprising given how far the sector had snapped back at the end of last week... Add key inflation data due later this week and a lack of institutional activity on the buy side and the ingredients were in place for a pullback... Traders must now watch today's session very carefully... Sellers will try and take market down hard early in the session... Need to see buying into the weakness... If not, then the recovery rally will be in serious jeopardy.

Sonny ---The above is from Briefing.com this morning--- Once again the manipulation begins but rarely have I seen all the houses particpate and our friends on Cnbc cannot find a bull at present . They must all be hiding in a closet or CNBC is preaching a bias story line

Sonny--an example of the manipulation by the houses ----TXN
1) last Thursday ---Warburg Dillon Reed came out with a target price of 240 for TXN ( yet they were one of the houses trying to talk the techs down yesterday )
2) Merrills chip analyst Joe Osha was on Wednesday promoting TXN yet yesterday they were saying dump techs
Well I am not selling --will buy more along with the houses as they rape the retail investors with the misnomers and in some cases out right lies ---enough !
I was looking at mortages the other day with the ten year note note down to 6% but the banks are really gouging with interest rates at 8.3 % .Mortages should be at 7.5 % ---really looking like the consumer is taking a bath in this time frame . Oil trading at 24.00 dollars a barrel and oil down .02 cents ---wholesale price is .80 cents with taxes is $1.15--- is what the oil jobber is paying ---prices for unleaded should be 1.29 a gallon .
Thanks for listening to my complaining --will ride it out --at least we have learn that lesson
