Hey, that's a low blow!! Some of us find entertainment in different ways. I don't get entertainment from TV, sorry if that offends you. That doesn't mean there's something wrong with me, does it?

Actually, my girlfriend doesn't watch TV either, but she doesn't share my cynical views of TV.

Mani & Tench,

I may be drawing the wrong conclusions by your names, but I'd assume you are both foreign. Most of my friends are from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, India, and UAE. Most of them don't have TV's, let alone cable. Possibly, one reason why they like hanging out with me (an american).

PS- The only TV I've seen any of them watch was the cricket championship between Pakistan and Bangladesh last year.
