From someone who is not technical either, the easiest way I use to tell if a stock is OTC BB or "Pink" is attempt to get a quote for the ticker on Yahoo!. You will either be referred to the "E" quote or get a "Symbol not found" if it has gone "Pink". Yahoo! has been very good at keeping up to date with the OTC BB delisting/relisting. MVEE/E is one to watch - can't make up its mind whether to lose the "E" or not!

Hope this helps.

Hi Sue,

I use Aduke's method as well. Another way to tell if a stock is "pink sheeted" is that the bid and ask disappear. :-(

That make it VERY TOUGH to trade unless there is a lot of volume or you have a way of charting it.

Regards,
Chris

SNTS - pcquote.com , notice the bid/ask and the exchange - OTC Other

DL DATE DATE OLD SYMBOL NEW SYMBOL/NAME
4/4/00 4/6/00 SNTSE** SNTS Sani-Tech Industries Inc^

^The "E" is being removed from this security in conjunction with its deletion from the OTCBB due to the issuer's failure to comply with the Eligibility Rule NASD 6530. The deletions were published on the 3/31/2000 D/L.

otcbb.com

Also when the E is removed because the stock is NOT going pink an effort is made to let us know this eg.

3/24/00 REDIE** REDI Reddie Brake Supply Corp (co compliant; see note 2)

otcbb.com

Please become familiar with the OTCBB site if you're going to trade these stocks.

Well, it doesn't seem like SNTS is delisted after all. Here are today's trades so far:

quote.bloomberg.com

Day's Range: .005 - .03
Volume (as at 12:21): 1,789,600
Current price: .02

We'll figure it out sooner or later. This is a challenge. Think I'll hold. LOL
