Glenn,
Nxtl...great company...one of Seattle's best.
>Last week's recovery in technology stocks may have buoyed some spirits, but articles in various magazines and newspapers over the weekend about the need to raise margin requirements on stocks probably did not sit well with speculators and day traders.

Nor did comments from Richard McCabe, chief market analyst at Merrill Lynch. McCabe issued a report to clients yesterday morning saying that technology stocks have begun what he described as an "important corrective trend."

Investors should use rebounds in technology stock prices to reduce their exposure in stocks that have fallen 40 percent to 50 percent from their recent highs, McCabe said. At the same time, he urged investors "to increase commitments to the energy, basic industry, consumer-cyclical and financial sectors of the market."
