You mean, since the question "How high will Microsoft fly" has already been answered?

No, in fact, I think the direction of the Microsoft stocks has never been so undetermined as today, and despite that no-one here would believe, that MSFT would be going further down, there must some who believe that it could - all those that do not buy.

Since a stock's price is set by those who trade it, it is therefore important to find out how those people interpret the situation in order to judge the future. The DOJ case definitely had more influence on the stock prices than I ever imagined, but I don't think the DOJ can be blamed for it all.

Microsoft is becoming more and more a brand than a market standard. It's a brand with a considerable value, but having the press treat it like it does today, is bad for the brand value. Other brands, like Apple, Sun etc. are treated much better.

In Europe, the Microsoft brand seems to lose its value much faster than in the U.S.

I think they should rename this forum:

MSFT: How low will Microsoft go?

Wow, Epics! That joke's still as original as it was the last five times it was posted here!
