Regarding my post #4564:
Message 13394199

One more time where Etrade rep tells you something that is totally wrong. I was informed earlier that I was allocated shares in error since I didn't have enough cash to cover and that if I wanted they would remove them. I asked them to do this and when I still saw them in my account I called again and was informed by a broker that no customer rep can remove shares and I was given the wrong information. These shares are in my account and can not be removed unless I sell them on the open market. Meanwhile, I am now on "free ride" 90 day restrictions.

Lesson: Don't assume that because you don't have the cash in your account that you can't get an allocation. If you IOI'd for any IPO that you don't want to get stuck with, cancel it even if your account doesn't have the funds.
