A case of an analyst without a clue.

09:11 ET Motorola (MOT) 151: Wit SoundView reits STRONG BUY and $215 price target; reported results for the first quarter $0.01 above consensus of $0.58; MOT did have a $300 million upside result on the top-line vs. what most were expecting ($8.8 billion actual vs. $8.5 billion consensus target); given the return of good revenue growth and gross margin numbers, expects the stock to perform well today.<b/>

Jon, MOT's margins were negatively affected by unusually high engineering expenses. Don't you think they should just quit wasting money on this 1XTREME stuff? <vbg>
