If you bought MRVC at $180, CD's look real attractive. Old Economy stocks are not going to 21 bag. They are not going to be quartered in a correction. I chose to invest. My goal is for my portfolio to do better than 10% each year. So far, it has been an amazing run, and I've tripled my portfolio in the last three years. After MRVC sunk my entire portfolio 30%. Let's see... I've met my goal for life. Now what? Make 10% per year on my existing portfolio. I'll do that by diversifying, and keeping the high risk portion in tech stocks, while keeping enough powder dry to pick up bargains as they arise.
