C-Cube to Demonstrate DV/MPEG Transcoding at its Sands CC Booth and at DVCPRO Partners Interoperability Exhibit at LVCC
What: C-Cube will demonstrate an all-digital, single-chip solution for television broadcast stations seeking to capture video in DV and output in MPEG-2 at the DVCPRO partners inter-operability exhibit. Shown will be DV video content, previously created in a simulated professional television broadcast environment, transferred to a PC or ?transcode station? for transcoding to MPEG-2 in preparation for DVD and/or satellite distribution.

At its own booth, C-Cube will for the first time demonstrate MPEG-to-DV transcoding using the same single-chip solution to perform all-digital conversion of MPEG-2 to DV, a process that completes the circle of DV and MPEG format interoperability.
