INFS is selling off a bit which is very good for a prospective buyer. I'd like to add INFS to a longer term portfolio but waiting for the best price. Earnings were good (beat by 15 cents) paving the 'fundamental' red carpet to the company, now we need the technical 'all clear' signal.

InFocus Announces Strong First Quarter Results
Revenues grow 45% over the first quarter of 1999
WILSONVILLE, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 11, 2000--InFocus© (Nasdaq:INFS - news) today announced better than expected first quarter earnings of $.52 per share.

First quarter revenues of $125.1M increased 45% from $86.5M in first quarter 1999 and were 13% above fourth quarter 1999 revenues. Net income in the first quarter of $13.1M improved $10.2M over the first quarter of 1999 net income of $2.8M, and was up 13% over the fourth quarter of 1999 net income of $11.5M. Earnings per share in the first quarter of $.52 increased $.40 over the first quarter of 1999 earnings per share of $.12 and were up 11% over the fourth quarter 1999 earnings of $.47 per share.

First quarter revenue includes a $4.4M license fee related to a technology license agreement with Pixelworks. Net income was increased by $2.8M and earnings per share increased by $.11 as a result of this transaction.
