Mike, not only that...i have a nagging suspicion that many margined ST traders may have gotten their head handed to them last Tuesday, and are simply too shell-shocked as well as not liquid enough to act.

the Fed btw. did a 6 billion dollar repo today...so immediately as the market shows renewed weakness they are cranking up the old printing press. they ARE managing the bubble, despite protestations to the contrary.
