Rob,
One more thing on SDLT: we often make a big deal out of bragging rights for the fastest transfer rates, especially the company that happens to have the fastest gun in the West in that particular class at that time. However, the truth is, transfer rates matter less than it might appear, since most computer systems--especially the mid-range systems that SDLT and DLT 7000 and 8000 and M2 are aimed at--can't send the data that fast anyway. So whether SDLT winds up at 11.5 or 11 probably doesn't make a whole lot of difference except that some salesmen can say "oh look how fast we can go", but if the buyer has anything on the ball, he/she will reply, "yes, but our system can't go that fast, what happens when we send at, say 5 mb/s? How fast does your system go then?"

So it is more important to get a qualified, reliable product out there in the field that goes in the same ball park as the competition in real life situations than it is to be the fastest gun in the West.

On a different note, we are down to 10 1/8 at the bid, looks like single digits are coming soon. I sure hope that this isn't anticipating either a pre-announcement (late though it may be), worse than expected revenues/earnings w/o a preannouncement, or a delay in volume shipment.
