Wayne,

I know, I know. :-)

My point, however, was about the specific role of the Y2K money infusion. Since draining it didn't cause the market to tank, infusing it could not have caused the market to explode on its own. There are other factors at play, which may be run-of-the-mill non-Y2K related credit supplies or may be rational investor decisions unrelated to credit supply and related to economic outlook.

But then, isn't it time for the regular thread participants to concede that they are totally wrong about the Y2K infusion? Or is that too much to ask for? ;-)
