Market maker, has appointed a new Chief Technology Officer and Business
Development Director to support its European expansion plans. Paul Fox and Mark
Billing have been harnessed into the respective positions, following the
injection of $24 million venture capital funding into the business (January
2000).

Fox comes to Hyporium with over 15 years of strategic IT experience. Before
joining Hyporium, Fox was regional IT director for the EMEA & FSU regions at
ITS, were he successfully managed ITS' Y2K project and was responsible for
developing extranets for major blue chip organisations including Exxon, Elf and
Sasol. He has also implemented web-basedtracking systems for the EEC and as a
management consultant at Web Objects, Fox headed up e-commerce and web design
projects for clients such as Microsoft, Sony and Schlumberger.

Billing has equally impressive experience, having worked in strategic
international expansion for the past 20 years. He has served as managing,
marketing and business development directors in business sectors across the
board. Within the retail industry, he has led both international marketing
campaigns and international partnership programmes. Billing has also worked
extensively with Warwick University, writing and pioneering corporate strategic
plans and brand portfolio developments. He has an MBA from the University of
Bath and has participated in advanced programmes at LBS Business School and
Wharton Business School in the US. In addition, Billing is a member of the
Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Society of Industrial Artists and
Designers.
