Scumbria,

I spent a lot of time shopping for groceries at Fry's in Arizona in the 70's.

There used to be a Fry's grocery store over in East San Jose. I asked at one of the electronics stores one day and they said that they were unrelated. I'm not positive the salesperson knew what he was talking about (he said it as if he did), but I've been laboring under the impression since then that they were not connected.

Fry's Electronics is run by one of the Fry's grocery store owners sons- I have heard. I like to go visit the stores to see the assortment of goods, but I hate to buy anything from them because of the poor customer service.
