If we had an NNA (National Nunchaku Association) instead of an NRA, guns would be outlawed while people would be arguing for their God-given right to carry nunchuks for personal defense.

Tench,

Since we're already way OT, there was an article in the Washington Post last year about the poor secret service officers who run the tourist line at the White House. It seems there is a sign that reads, "no knives, no nunchuks..." As you can imagine, every 10th person asks the secret service guy, "What are nunchuks?" I guess it drives them crazy, so they make stuff up..."People from Nunchukia"...etc. BTW, I guess the other thing people are always asking is to go to the bathroom. Seems that a lot of people really want to use the White House bathroom...but there is no public restroom in the White House.

Let's face it. There is a powerful subculture in America revolving around guns. This has very little to do with "personal defense" or "public safety" and much more to do with defending a "way of life" that has been ingrained into the hearts and minds of many Americans.

There, that's my two cents.

Tenchusatsu,

And a good $ .02 it was....well said.
