I believe MOT's semiconductor business was doing well. MOT got hurt by estimating cell phone sales would be more in the lower priced models. Still looking for a good Q from COHU, but who knows what the whisper number is? These whisper numbers have got out of hand.

They definately are a good customer , I'm only guessing but Intel is The customer.Their expansion from 4.7 BNillion to 6.0 Billion included a new test facility.This will have impact to the plus side.Couple the Rhambus dram memory ramp up and I think Cohu is probably dealing with production gridlock. I think at this point they markup their margins for smaller customers and go for economies of scale and overtime - might be hard to do with 3 shifts. Their moving of the original pick and place tester to littleton Ma. should enable them to build more castles and summits in San Diego. BWDIK I think if they get below 35 one more time, I'm gonna fill up the truck one more time.If today generated any margin calls it may force an unwilling sale of Cohu (which is really in sector that is holding up rather well).If those type of sales ocur a low ball GTC to buy might just snag some great buys that will pop around earnings. On the other hand if stocks (with good earnings) have a haircut like MOT got today - Cash is King !!! Bob
