Pete, Re: Social Security It back loads the costs (something the Democrats seem to favor in their various plans) while front loading the benefits. Look at the reward system for the politicians. They got to spend money they don't have, they are being hailed as heroes by the press for proposing a courageous program, they get credit for eliminating poverty of old people, who in turn vote for them even more? The young people who are being robbed by the system are too stupid, and don't vote. There is no reward for being responsible. Joe
